Just don't think!

Why do politicians start every sentence with "I think"?
It worries me somehow because they should "know"..we pay and elect them to know, do we not?
No journalist seems to challenge the pre-amble nowadays. Maybe it is because journalists, to whom I like to refer to as the "dowdy dandruff brigade", are being force-fed and, consequently the unsuspecting public, media hype from the spin-p.r. companies, the minders and facilitators for killing off any "we are the people!" thoughts.
One late media tycoon in Australia was feared for saying, when you could not answer his questions,"why don't you know!?"
Indeed.
